As we kick-start our TechSparks 2013 season this year, we’re excited to host our first TechSparks in Kochi this Saturday. TechSparks – India’s biggest tech startup discovery platform is the annual flagship event of YourStory to uncover the best emerging tech and product start-ups from across India. In its 4th edition, TechSparks 2013 will be an 8 month, 7 city campaign where we plan to bring together the local startup eco-system of every city and connect them with the best of the startup world – investors, mentors, incubators, accelerators, service providers and corporate, for networking, discussions and business collaboration.

Introducing our TechSparks Kochi Speakers
RUBIA BRAUN, CHIEF INNOVATIONS OFFICER, METRO BRAVA
Australian/German, Rubia has been working in the film industry for over a decade in varying positions, companies and continents. She graduated with first class honours with a Bachelor of Communications and a Bachelor of Media Studies at RMIT University. She also attended the Victorian College of Arts (Film and TV School). Rubia consults regularly for ‘Bollywood’ productions, film institutes, and is currently starting India’s first competitive glee club. She is a serial entrepreneur managing several other companies including a healthy burger brand, a designer bangle company and a juice chain.
GAUTAM MAGO, PRINCIPAL, SEQUOIA CAPITAL INDIA
Gautam is a Principal with Sequoia Capital India where he focuses on investments in healthcare and technology. Prior to joining Sequoia, Gautam worked with McKinsey & Company as well as Arthur Andersen. Gautam holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Masters in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
PRAVIN SRINIVASAN, SALES, BUSINESS MANAGER, CISCO
Pravin Srinivasan is a Sales Business Development Manager with Cisco and has over 14 years of IT experience – 8 of them with Cisco. In that time, he has worked with many customers in designing and architecting solutions for Collaboration, Data Centers and Borderless Networks. In his current role, he works with customers and partners to help them adopt the latest technology trends in their IT systems design and ensure that they build optimized and future-proof IT systems.
